HPCET 2026 Registration Begins: The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has activated the online application process for the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2026 on its official website himtu.ac.in. This state-level entrance examination offers admission to a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as BTech BPharmacy MBA MCA and M.Sc. programs. The application process started on 13 March 2026 and will remain open until 19 April 2026. Applicants must ensure they meet the eligibility conditions before applying. The exam will be conducted in offline mode on 9 May and 10 May 2026 followed by result declaration expected by 21 May 2026 and centralized counseling in June 2026. Himachal Pradesh Technical University offers admission into multiple professional programs through this entrance exam. Applicants can apply for the streams offered by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University based on their qualification which includes BTech and BPharmacy for science students, MBA and MBA Tourism & Hospitality Management for management aspirants, MCA for computer application students, M.Sc Physics and Environmental Science for science graduates and Hotel management and hospitality-related undergraduate programs

Eligibility Conditions

• For BTech applicants must pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics along with one optional subject and minimum 45 percent marks
• For BPharmacy applicants must pass 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry and one of Mathematics or Biology with minimum 45 percent marks
• For MBA applicants must be graduated in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks
• For MCA applicants must be graduated with Mathematics at 10+2 or degree level and minimum 50 percent marks
• For M.Sc courses applicants must have relevant bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent marks
• Reserved category candidates get relaxation up to 5 percent marks

4. Log in and complete your profile including education details
